Vaga – Plant Operator

We are recruiting!

Our client in Pemba is looking for Plant Operator to join their team for a job vacancy within the Mining Sector.

Responsibilities:

Operate plant machinery and systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Monitor operational parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, and levels
Control processes through control panels or automated systems
Perform routine inspections and identify abnormalities or faults
Record operational data and report incidents or deviations
Carry out basic preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, minor adjustments)
Support maintenance teams during technical interventions

Requirements:

Technical Certificate or Diploma in: Mechanical, Industrial Processes or related field
Basic knowledge of mining equipment and production processes
Knowledge of workplace safety standards
Attention to detail
Operational discipline and responsibility
