Vaga – Restaurant Manager

We are recruiting!

Our client in Maputo is looking for Restaurant Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within Tourism Sector.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring smooth service execution, Implement and maintain operational systems and procedures.
• Manage daily cash-ups and closures, verify sales reconciliation and POS accuracy and monitor expenses and operational costs.
• Control stock levels and minimize losses, conduct regular inventory counts (daily/weekly/monthly), manage ordering and supplier coordination.
• Analyze weekly sales trends and performance and propose and implement promotional strategies to increase traffic and revenue.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience managing a restaurant or hospitality operation.
• Strong experience in inventory and stock control.
• Experience with daily financial reconciliation.
• Restaurant systems management experience.
• Proven ability to produce operational and sales reports.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
